Our Library Mission

At All Saints Catholic School the mission of our library is to foster a love of reading and lifelong learning in every student. We aim to provide a welcoming, inclusive space where students can explore a wide variety of books in both English and Spanish, digital resources, and educational programs that inspire curiosity and creativity.

Library Hours & Class Schedules

The Library at All Saints is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

All PK3-5th grade students visit the All Saints Library as a class one day a week at a set time during their Specials rotation schedule. Middle school students may visit the library as needed during their Literature or English class and Lyceum time.

The library is open throughout the school day and students are encouraged to visit the library with the permission of their teacher and to use our resources. Proper library behavior, including adherence to school Internet guidelines, is expected from every student.

Resources and Services

  • Book Collection: Our diverse collection includes fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, and picture books suitable for all grade levels.
  • Digital Resources: Access eBooks, audiobooks, educational databases, and more through our online catalog.
  • Reading Programs: Students participate in our seasonal reading challenges, book clubs, and author visits.
  • Homework Help: Get assistance with research projects and homework from our friendly library manager and Literacy United support staff.
  • Technology Access: Use our chromebooks and iPads for research, learning games, and accessing digital resources.

Library Policies

  • Borrowing Books: Students in grades kindergarten through second grade can borrow one book for one week.  Students in third through eighth grade can borrow two books at a time for one week . Renewals are allowed if no other student has requested the book.
  • Book Care: Students are responsible for taking good care of borrowed materials and returning them to the library on time.  All library books should be returned to the library dropbox located outside of the library, or brought to the library when it is open.
  • Returns: Please return books on time to avoid late fees and to ensure other students have access to our collection. A 10-cent fine per school day will be charged for overdue books, beginning one week from the due date, until the book is returned to the library.
  • Lost/Damaged Books: Lost or damaged library books must be paid for before another book may be checked-out. A book is considered lost when it is two weeks overdue, at which time the borrower is charged the replacement cost plus a $5 processing fee, and library borrowing privileges are suspended. Library privileges remain suspended until all fines for overdue, lost, and damaged books are paid. Charges for library fees will be billed through FACTS and they are non-refundable.  Please encourage your child to talk to library staff and teachers if they misplace a book as we are willing to help them look for it in the library, make suggestions of places to look within the school, and have heard of many unique spots where library books have been found at home that they might want to check.
  • Behavior: We expect all students to respect library materials, staff, and fellow students. Quiet voices and gentle handling of books are appreciated.
